Two Opportunities to help missions

12/8/22 Update on special need for Bona Demo:

As you know, Monday the 5th of December, was the final evaluation from Ohio State Hospital of a very dear sister who has offered to be a kidney donor for Bona. She passed all the tests and that was encouraging since Bona has a very high percentage of antibodies on the blood.
Yesterday, I received a call from her and her husband, telling that the hospital found out that she is not a going to be a donor since there are some problems.
Later that day I received an email from the Ohio Hospital’s coordinator saying: “I was very sorry to hear the news regarding Valbona's potential donor, we were all heartbroken when we received the news. Everything looked good, until we got the CT scan results. We had multiple physicians review and looked for every possible way to get around it, but ultimately there was no way that removing one of her kidneys would not have caused her harm and three surgeons all said it was not possible.

As I (Edi) was hearing all these news i was reminded that i want to Praise the Lord the same way as if i had received a good news. We know that God in his sovereignity is allowing all these for his honor and glory and we as a family praised last night His Holy Name. He is our treasurer and our souls praise Him.

Dear friend, now we are waiting in the Lord to find a good match for Bona. So please continue to pray that the solution will come from the Lord, because only He can solve this situation as He is pleased.

We are including here the link that the hospital gave us for people who can be interested to be kidney donor for Bona.Ohio State University (osuwexmedlivingdonor.org)
In the information they will need to know that the kidney receiver isValbona Demo, birthday: December 19, 1978.
Bona has O blood type.
The hospital told us that the more people that are willing to donate the kidney, the better are the chances of finding the right one on time.
We bless the Lord that in this hour of trouble he has brought many people around us and encouraged our hearts.
Thank you so much for allowing us to share with you our situation and thank you so much for being alongside us.
Please know that we as a family remember you in our prayers that the Lord will give you the strength to walk as child of light.

12/5/22 Update on special need for Bona Demo:

“Today our family would ask you if you can join us in a prayer regarding the situation with Bona’s health. Among the dear people who have been registered to be checked for becoming a kidney donor for Bona, there is one dear sister who has passed the first phase of tests positively. Today (12/5) she is in Ohio Hospital to do the final donor transplant evaluation. So, this is a very important day. We will know the results within some days Lord willing and will keep you informed.

Please pray that the Lord will intervene, that this final donor transplant evaluation will be positive. Please pray that the will of the Lord will be done. We are so thankful for you praying for us and being alongside us.

Thank you for everything. With much love and appreciation.

Edi, Bona, Noel, Sion”
