Why Invite Others to Easter
In just a little over a week, we will be commemorating the most unique event in all of human history. The Lord Jesus Christ died and bodily rose again to defeat our greatest enemies: sin, death, and hell. Here are two reasons why people everywhere must hear this good news.
It confirms what everyone needs to know: Jesus Christ is truly more than just another religious leader, wise man, or miracle worker. He is the only living Savior who can rescue anyone from their damning sins (1 Cor. 15:17), the only living Lord who deserves to be worshipped and obeyed (Rom. 1:4), and the only living Judge who will hold everyone accountable for their sins against God (Acts 17:30-31).
It celebrates what everyone needs to experience: Because Jesus Christ died and rose again, anyone who believes in Him will be declared not guilty before God (Rom. 4:25), be united with Christ to “walk in newness of life” (Rom. 6:4-5), enjoy a guaranteed “living hope” (1 Pet. 1:3-4), be able to look forward to a resurrection to eternal life (2 Cor. 4:14), and be rewarded for our service when He returns (Rev. 22:12).
Let’s get the word out to everyone we can and let them know we would love to have them join us for the message that has revolutionized our life and eternity.
