Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that I am Your child, secure in Your care. Thank You for Your many promises that reflect Your perfect character and Your sovereign, loving hand. Help me to trust in Your goodness and in Your loving kindness. Thank You, Lord, that You know all things and are wise in Your governance of my life, my family’s lives, and in all providence. Help me, Lord, to diligently trust in Your care and walk in the rhythm and power of the Holy Spirit. Help me see the opportunities, motivated by Christ’s love, to enter into the lives of others. Help me, Lord, to love You with all my heart, soul, and mind.  Help me, Lord, to love others as You have loved me. Thank You for the marvelous, perfect expression of Your love in Jesus laying down His life in death on the cross. May I die to self daily and take up my cross in faithful service to You, O Lord, to Your everlasting glory. In Jesus' holy name. Amen.
