Children’s Ministry Assistant
Theresa Dibble
Meet Theresa, born in Renton, WA, and a member of CCFW since 2019. She married her husband, Jason, on July 8, 2000, and they have five children: Andrew (2003), Sharon (2004), Amanda (2006), Luke (2007), and Sophie (2010). Theresa graduated from Federal Way High School in 1994 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Emmaus Bible College in 1998.
Theresa’s personal testimony reflects her journey of faith. As a child, she repeatedly prayed for salvation without fully understanding it, driven by a fear of hell. It wasn’t until she attended Lakeside Bible Camp in sixth grade that she heard the gospel clearly and committed her life to Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
Passionate about ministry, Theresa finds joy in working with children. Serving them on Sundays allows her to bless their parents, giving them the freedom to attend services with peace of mind. In her leisure time, Theresa enjoys reading, taking pictures, painting rocks, and going on adventures with her family.
A memorable moment for her was visiting a zoo in Japan, where a monkey stole her son Andrew’s pacifier. Amid Andrew’s tears, Theresa cleverly coaxed the monkey onto her shoulder with the pacifier, creating an unforgettable family story.
Theresa finds gladness in being out in God’s creation, whether it’s listening to birds sing or walking on the beach. However, she also carries the sadness of losing both her parents to lung cancer. Her favorite childhood memory is a road trip to Disneyland, where she cherished sitting in front of a portable air conditioner in her family’s Buick, enjoying her new Disney toys on the way home.
Her favorite foods include chocolate, fruit, fondue, and La Croix, as she has a notable sweet tooth. She loves worship music and oldies and enjoys movies like Sweet Home Alabama, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Marvel films. While not a big sports fan, she supports Seattle teams by default. Her favorite TV show is NCIS, and she loves dining at Viva Mexico or the Melting Pot. For a perfect Northwest getaway, she is happiest going anywhere with Jason.
