Family Worship - Sin Entered the World (Genesis 2:15—3:24)
Read & Discuss
God gave Adam and Eve the rule to not eat the fruit of one tree, so that Adam and Eve could continue to enjoy an amazing relationship with Him. Adam and Eve believed the lie that maybe there was something better, and their relationship with God was broken. When we disobey God, we believe the same lie and our sin breaks our relationship with God.
Give Thanks
“God, help us to see that Your rules are perfect and for our good. Sin has broken our relationship with You; thank You for sending Jesus the Savior. Help us to trust in Him so we can experience the relationship we were created to have with You.”
Memory Verse
Our Bible verse is: Psalm 104:24. “How countless are your works, Lord! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.” About Scripture Memory: God tells us how important it is to memorize His truth. Psalm 119:11 says “I have stored up your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
