Prayer: 
Father, as we contemplate the way the events in Jesus' day turned the world upside down, we find comfort that in Christ we can overcome the world because Jesus overcame it. He has rescued us and secured the eternal victory. He lives forevermore and reigns in majesty. Let us constantly find joy being in Your presence. Let us continually have Your peace, because You give it to us as we bring our petitions before You with hearts of thanksgiving and trust. May we resolve to be unmoved, not shaken, by the circumstances of tribulation that the world brings our way. Let us be encouraged and motivated to see You at work in every situation to bring about Your ultimate glory. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen!
