Our 4-Part Blessing
 
Who doesn’t like blessings? I do, and you and I can’t forget this profound 4-part blessing.
 
“This is salvation simplified: God saves us by Himself, from Himself, unto Himself, for Himself.” – Burk Parsons
 
Read it again…slowly.  This is so rich and such a HUGE blessing. 

• “by Himself”: Nobody but God can deliver you and me. Our effort is futile. 

• “from Himself”: Praise God He delivered you and me from His crushing wrath. 

• “unto Himself”: Our only safety, our only hope is to be secure in the arms of God Himself. 

• “for Himself”: Yes, we receive the blessing of forgiveness and eternal life, but it’s all for the glory of God. He alone is worthy as the Giver and the gift.

All I can say is “WOW!” What a salvation and what a great Savior!!!
