Are You Being Honest with Yourself about Your Gospel Witness?

Sometimes our biggest struggle with being a good and faithful gospel witness is being brutally honest with ourselves about why we don't consistently think, live, and breathe an evangelistic heart like we may think we do.

Ouch, that can sting as it does for me when I take stock of my desire, burden, and intentionality with gospel conversations.

I read a brief article (Ten Reasons We Fail to Share Our Faith) recently that made me examine the reality of my so-called "gospel-driven" heart.

Please give it a read and then ask the Lord to re-fire your heart. Then begin a daily commitment to plant some gospel seeds and see what the Lord will do.

Because there is more light and sun this time of year, there will be more opportunity to be out and about around many people who don't know that they need the Lord, so let's take advantage of that.

Remember our Lord's great heart and desire:

"Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest." Matthew 9:36-38

Sharing with you,

Pastor Jeff
