Family Worship - The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9)
Read & Discuss
There are 7,000 different languages spoken in the world. Have you wondered where those languages came from? Though God told Noah to “increase in number and fill the whole earth” (Genesis 9:1), people disobeyed and instead clumped together, deciding to build a tower to show how great they were. The people wanted glory for themselves, but all glory belongs to God. God mixed up the people’s words so they spoke different languages. They stopped building and started to spread out across the world. The many languages of our world are a reminder that God is great, and all glory belongs to Him!
