Prayer
Father.  Thank you for Jesus; his death, burial, and resurrection.  Thank you for my union with Christ and the new identity that I now have in Him.  Thank you for creating in me a new heart, one that through your Spirit, now has the power and desire to obey you and to say no to sin.  Father I confess that I don’t always live up to my new identity.  But I praise you and thank you for your infinite and powerful grace; I need it every day as you continue to transform me into the image of your Son.  And I know that you will complete the work that you started in me.  Thank you!  Amen.
