He Is Risen!
He is risen! What an incredible weekend with our Church family!
We had a wonderful Good Friday service focused on the thief on the cross. We had over 100 kids participate in our “Flapjack Feast” and hear the story of the resurrection in our children’s ministry. And over 1000 people attended our Easter services hearing the gospel preached alongside a fantastic time of praise!

“There is no tribunal so magnificent, no throne so stately, no show of triumph so distinguished, no chariot so elevated, as is the cross on which Christ hath subdued death and the devil.” John Calvin (1509–1564)

On Sunday, we sang, “I will not boast in anything–no gifts, no power, no wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection.”
The gospel leaves us unable to boast about anything that we can do, but in awe of Jesus Christ so that all we can say is “praise God!”
In 1 Timothy 1:15–16, Paul said,
